The Learning4Life swim school uses the Swim Teachers Association Learn to Swim programme to teach children to swim.
Children start at 4 years old in pre-beginners’ classes where they develop their confidence and start to swim.
The majority of the children continue onto deep end classes ensuring they are competent swimmers who would have the best chance of getting themselves out of a dangerous situation if ever they got in to trouble. They become confident and competent swimmers with a lifelong skill that will keep them safe and give them hours of fun and enjoyment and help to keep them fit and healthy.
The children can go on to develop their lifesaving skills by joining our rookie lifeguard classes and in association with the Royal Lifesaving Society can move on to the National Lifesaving Academy where they learn lifesaving skills both in and out of the water.
Many of our swim teachers and lifeguards have progressed through our swim school after developing a love of swimming nurtured in a supportive environment created by our brilliant team of swim teachers. Lifeguards, receptionists and helpers all receive regular training plus our knowledgeable administration staff who can assist you to choose the correct class for your child.
Our classes run every evening after school starting at 4pm and Saturdays and Sundays.
