All of our Tutors hold qualifications in their subject specialism and relevant teaching qualifications so that our students enjoy their learning and get value for money.
The Learning4Life swim school has taught thousands of youngsters the essential life skill of swimming over the past 20 years and is privileged to be one of the most successful swim schools in the local area. We nurture, support and encourage children from the moment they start their swimming journey with us right up until they become fully competent swimmers.
Our facilities are open 7 days a week with closures only during bank holidays, and extended opening hours during school holidays. There is ample parking available onsite, and our friendly staff are always available to help.
We have a team of Family Learning Tutors who can provide parent and child courses in any venue that would like to offer quality learning for both parents and their children. We work with schools to engage parents in their children’s learning and offer support for your child’s reading, writing, maths and parenting skills.
Learning4Life is responsible for the provision of community activities after the school day has ended and at weekends on behalf of The Wordsley School.
We offer a diverse range of adult education courses and workshops to bring like-minded people together to learn their chosen subject in a friendly and supportive environment. Many of our students develop lifelong skills from making clothes and soft furnishings, creative arts such as painting and drawing, pottery and floristry, languages, guitar, IT to health and wellbeing courses such as pilates and adult swimming lessons. If you are hesitant to come along for the first time there is no need to worry. A warm welcome awaits you.
We have a vibrant swim school where hundreds of children have weekly swimming lessons. Lessons start at 4 years of age pre-beginners through to teenagers completing their life saving skills in the Royal Lifesaving Society's National Lifesaving Academy classes. Our lessons last for 28 minutes and we provide swimming aids such as backpacks. Our swim school also has an online portal where parents can track their child's progress. If you have a child terrified of the water or a child who has no fear, we have vast experience of successfully supporting your child to swim.
The Wordsley School offers excellent facilities which can be hired in the evenings and at weekends. We have a huge sports hall with 4 cricket nets and mats, basketball hoops, netball hoops, 5 a side football, a gym, the main school hall, an outdoor multi-use games area, swimming pool and classrooms. We have a supportive team of site assistants who are around to support you if you need them.
