Course Description
This is a great starting point for someone who hasn’t played the guitar before or took part in Gavin’s guitar courses.
Course Aim
Learn how to play a note by holding the guitar correctly. Train your ear and begin to learn how to tune the strings. With this we can learn simple tunes using chord shapes and music that tells you where to put your fingers.
Entry Requirements
No qualifications or prior skills are needed. Simply an interest in the subject

What Do I Need To Bring With Me?
You will need an electric or acoustic guitar. A note pad and pen also. If you bring an amplifier please ensure it has been PAT tested.
