Mindfulness is the ability to be fully aware of what is happening in the moment. It’s a skill that can be developed through mindful meditation practice and in daily life. During the course you will be able to experience mindfulness for yourself through short mindful meditations, exercises and discussion.
You will have the opportunity to develop your ability to practice mindfulness, which we do sitting in ordinary chairs. We start with guided meditations; by the end of the course you will be able to practice with only a little guidance from the tutor.
To provide a calm and relaxed environment where students can practice simple mindfulness meditations and help develop ways to incorporate mindfulness in their daily lives.
