Course Description
This course is intended for complete beginners who have never used the internet or email before, or those with some basic knowledge who need to build up their confidence.
Course Aim
This fun and friendly course will help students gain basic internet and email skills with confidence and in safety.

- Searching for information using a web browser
- Navigating around web sites
- Bookmarking your favourite web sites to go back to later
- Writing and sending your first email
- Send email to multiple recipients
- reply to email
- using email attachments
- identify junk mail and scams
- Managing the emails you receive
- Keeping safe on the internet
Entry Requirements
Basic keyboard and mouse skills on a computer are essential. If you are completely new to computers, please attend the Computer Basics for Beginners course first. Students need to be able to understand and follow written or verbal instructions.

Some handouts are provided during the course, but students are recommended to bring a notepad and pen to supplement these with their own notes.
