Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing

COURSE AIM: To improve balance, flexibility and wellbeing through the Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing sequence.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing is a gentle sequence of 16 movements derived from Tai Chi and Chi Gung, designed to increase body/mind co-ordination, circulation, flexibility, balance and an overall sense of wellbeing. The movements can be carried out seated or standing.

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS? None. The course is for complete beginners.

DO I NEED ANYTHING FOR THE FIRST CLASS? Comfortable, loose fitting clothing. Light shoes or light trainers.

An optional CD of the sequence will be available for those who wish to purchase it.

WHAT COULD PARTICIPANTS PROGRESS TO? The sequence gives participants the basic grounding in key Tai Chi principles, so they could progress to a course of formal tai chi (Yang style).
